Public Want Strong Climate Change Action Now – Poll

A new public opinion poll carried out in June 2018 by Insurance Company IAG has some encouraging results about public attitudes to climate change. The most striking result is that the public believes we should start now on climate change action,  much much more needs to be done, and perhaps most surprising of all 78% of the public say we need to act on climate change even if other countries don’t.

Here is a summary of the results.

The takeaway from this poll is that the public wants strong climate action, they want it now, and they want our local and central government representatives to be leaders, and not wait for other countries or bodies to act.
