And.. free bus travel for carers of accessbility concession holders

Did you know that you can use Google Maps on your computer or smart phone to find the nearest bus stop and the departure time for the next bus on the Thames Connector bus?

Go to Google Maps, enter your location and destination and then click on the “Transit” icon.  Here is an an example.

Then click on the “Details” and this will show the walking distance to the nearest bus stop, when the next bus leaves, where to get off, and the walking distance to your final destination.

Super Gold Card holders travel for free in the adult fare for under 65’s is only $2.

Also from 1 February there will be a new concession for people with disabilities.  If they need to travel with a carer, that carer will also travel for free.  You can see further details about the new concession here
