Waikato Regional Council has proposals for new public transport bus services in Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki and wants your feedback by 30 April. These include return connections between Coromandel town and east coast towns to Thames and from Waihi Beach-Waihi-Paeroa-Ngatea to Thames. There would also be a new service from Thames through Te Aroha to Hamilton (hospital). Please have your say by completing this quick questionnaire
The regional council is also asking for comment on a proposal to take over rating for public transport from district councils.
A quick feedback questionnaire is online here
It’s important that I and other councillors know what you think about these proposals. Completing the feedback questionnare only takes a few minutes – this is your chance to influence our decision making. The feedback period ends on 30 April so no time to delay!
