There is still a lot of work to be done on waterways of the Hauraki Plains. While driving on the Hauraki Plains this afternoon, just south of Turua, I saw a large drain/canal going parallel to the coast and heading straight for the Waihou River. It was completely filled with white foam, either milk or soap foams. We have to stop this some way or another.
