Yesterday was the two-year anniversary since the January 5, 2018 storm surge devastated Kaiaua, flooded scores of Thames homes and businesses and wiped out the Thames coast road. Coastal Flooding Simulator to include Hauraki Plains
Since 2016, Waikato Regional Councils’s excellent coastal flooding simulator has shown present and potential future flooding due to sea level rise around the Coromandel Peninsula.
